Manifesting is a great word, don’t you think? But how on earth do you apply it to yourself? Personally, I was in a manifesting rut twelve years ago when my friend challenged me to do something I was scared to do—go to healing school. At that time, I was more concerned about my four small children’s needs—diapers to be changed, mouths to be fed, and praying that they all might sleep four straight hours in one night. The phrases—live the life of your dreams, manifest them into reality, live with intention—were not on my radar.
I was in survival mode.
So, how do you shift from survival mode to manifesting your dreams into reality? Start by challenging yourself. Ask yourself the hard questions:
- Are you happy?
- Do you long for more?
- What would you do with your life if money or time was no object?
Once you get answers, you start making choices daily that start inching you toward that goal. It sounds painful, this slow inching, but it also doesn’t shock your system. Have you ever heard the phrase, “It takes seven to ten years to become an overnight success?”
That is truly how it works. So get out there and start inching along until you start to see results.
